when your buying points

Does anyone remember or know how long it takes to close and receive your membership from Disney.
I talked to a broker yesterday (not Disney) and put in an order to buy points at Old Key West and he said it's going to take a week to get the documents Faxed to me and the seller and another month for Disney to decide if they should buy the points.

We put an offer in that was accepted on March 29th, and we were able to make our first reservations with those points on May 5th. We were so anxious to close, that we called Member Services twice just to find out if the points were in the system under our contract yet. The third time was the charm.

Disney didn't take that long to not buy up the contract, so we were happy, but it did take about 5 weeks nevertheless.
