Do you go to the park the first day you arrive, or do you kick back and relax at the hotel and shops? I always relax the first day at the hotel. It's nice to take it easy before the fun filled days at Disneyland. :goodvibes

It depends on what time I get there. If I arrive in the morning or early afternoon, it's off to the parks! After 8pm or so, I'm more likely to just hang out at the resort.

Not that I can speak from a whole lot of experience, but when we go in December, we plan to get there as early as possible (like 7:00 A.M.), do an early check in, go to the MK, then go back to the hotel (WL) at about 2 or 3, to move into our room, and then head back to the MK (or another park) until closing time.

No matter how early we leave, we can't seem to get to Orlando before 2pm, because of the distance and time change. We check in, go see the room, flop on the beds and complain about being tired from the early flight and then end up dragging ourselves out to get lunch at the resort. It's all pretty slow going, since we're all whiny and tired, but we get our second winds around sunset and head out towards MK a nice dinner and then Wishes. The fireworks are DD5's favorite part of Disney World, she says "the sky comes alive!"

Before we moved here, we used to get to the resort around noon or so. We always got length of stay passes with the room. If the room was ready, we would freshen up and change and it would be off to Epcot. If the room was not ready, we would have them hold our bags and still head off to Epcot.

Now, with annual passes, we just drive to the park we want to visit and are already in our shorts. Occasionaly we do get a room at one of the resorts for a few nights and, except for already being in shorts, we follow the old routine.

Depends on our sitch with passes. With AP, definitely off to a park. Otherwise, it's cool to go to DTD, tour the resorts, and have a nice dinner.:earsboy:

Depending on the time we arrive. Normally we get there early so we drop off luggage and straight for the parks.

If we've got APs, we're in the parks usually before we get into our room & unpack...

actually, since we used ME last trip, we couldn't have unpacked until later anyway lol.

Hehe, we always go straight to a park... We usually get there around 9 or 10 AM... So yeah.

It depends on what time of day we get there. Sometimes we like to leave after work, arrive in Orlando around 9 or 10 p.m.--we go straight to bed and get up early the next day.

If we take an early morning flight and arrive in the morning or afternoon, then it's straight to a park for us.

I usually get there around noon/1 p.m., so it's check in, change socks/shirt, and head for Epcot!
