When you cancel a resort reservation, are your ADRs also cancelled?

We have the opportunity to stay in a suite at the Portofino Bay Hotel, as guests of a friend (so free for us!) during our February WDW trip. We are currently booked at the CR, and made ADRs for all our dining just a few days ago. If we cancel our resort reservations, can we still hold on to the ADRs?

They took all of our resort information at the time we made the ADRs, so I don't know if they are linked or not.

Thanks for your help!

Oh, I forgot to add that I am particularly worried because I made the ADRs using the resort guest 180+10 days policy...so I don't know if having used this privilege make the ADRs no longer valid when you are not a resort guest.

You will still have your ADRs. I must admit that I used to think it was strange that when I cancelled my resort reservations, as I did since I had to cancel the trip, I then also had to call Disney Dining to cancel my ADRs. But then the CM explained that they don't automatically cancel dining ressies because of cases exactly like yours. So now it makes perfect sense!
