I bought tix for MNSSHP by dialing the 800 number for WDW. They then transferred me to someone else...and when she got my name and address she said, "Oh, and I see you have visited us 20 times!"

I said, "Oh, no...I have gone to WDW alot, but not 20 times!" We continued talking and after we hung up, my DH said, "Of course we have gone to the parks at least 20 times!"

He thinks she meant how many times we entered the parks. Well, of course every trip we do that several times. But "I" thought she meant how many TRIPS to WDW we have taken. The last one we rented DVC points, so I am not sure that one would even show up.

Ironically, the last time we went to WL, I mentioned at check in how it was our favorite resort, we have stayed there 4 or 5 times, etc. Well, the CM checking us in said, "Hmmm...I don't see you in our computer at all!"

I had her check my name and my DH's, and we did not show up. The CM was not rude, but I almost felt like I was "lying" and got busted...which I was not!

I just wish I knew the way their computer system worked, what info they have about us, etc. Anyone have an insights?

They are talking about TRIPS to WDW. They get that information from you. I've been asked and I told them how many times.

As far as the WL stuff did you have the same name and address each visit. I know that WDW has about 5 profiles of me because of variations of my address and the fact that I have moved once. Don't sweat it, it's not that important...

they have way to much on me!!! I hate having to go thru it all just to get a price! they have all the people who have been with me etc!

Not sweating, just wondering!

Well, I have lived at the same address, use the same credit card to book every trip...just can't figure out why I would not be in the computer at WL!

And when the CM on the phone told me I had been 20 times...she gave ME that info...I never said I had been 20 times! I WISH I had been 20 times! LOL!

Just funny that on the phone they show that I have been MORE than I actually have, yet on the WL computer I do not exist....hmmmm....

My DH was laughing at me, cuz he said, "I bet they were just going to give you a free trip for your 20th visit, but you screwed that one up!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Disney is notorious for not having all of their computer systems 'talking' to each other...just look at how the website and the CRO computer are never in-sync - don't you think that you should be able to pull up your reservation on the website???

I have also heard that some of the issues with Magical Express is due to not having the data getting from one computer system to the other properly.

So it doesn't surprise me that one computer has your trip history in it and another doesn't.

Well, they sure have everything on me!!! On my last call, they proceeded to tell me how many times I've been to Disney, and actually asked me if certain people who have accompanied me before, would be coming this time as well! When it's accurate, it's all there. CRO even knows about your annual pass. :earseek:

My Dad and I have the same name and I just blows the CMs minds everytime I make a reservation. I know it's not unusual in the real world (Jr., III, etc.), but I guess in Disney World, it's a completely brand new concept! We both go a lot and we'll take trips at different times, which is, by CRO's reasoning, odd. They always say, have you moved? No, that's my Dad's address. Are you sure? Uh, yeah. Hmm...are you sure, 'cause that's unusual, I have another reservation under the other name. Yeah, because my Dad is probably going with my Mom and little sister at some point. Are you sure? YES!!!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD IN THE WORLD, MAKE MY RESERVATION, PLEASE, I'VE GOT A LIFE I NEED TO GET BACK TO!!!! IMO, sometimes too much info is a bad thing!

Laugh-Are you a stand up comedian? You always crack me up, and I see you are in NYC where every struggling comedian gets started....

I guess what I find crazy is that NEITHER computer has correct info, ya know? Wouldn't ya think ONE of them (CRO or WL) would have it right?

Well I know they also keep track of your children's ages. When I called and they asked me ages.. I told her and she said"yes that's right" um yeah I think I know how old my children are. She then went on to tell me that they keep that information for when the kids turn 11 and become "adult" ticket prices. (we have an 11 and I would never have thought of faking him as a 10 but I guess people do it) Watch out they are watching you! :earseek:

That depends on whether or not you have visited WDW before. If you have, they will have your name, the names and ages of those who were in your previous party and the history of where you stay, along with your home address and phone number.

I agree. I cannot tell you how annoying this was this past week when we were calling a couple of times a day to see if there had been a cancellation on-site so we could extend our vacation. The CM's wouldn't even tell us there were NO available rooms until we'd gone through the entire process--again and again and again. Ugh!
