when will we see the 2009 rates?

Does anyone know when the 2009 resort rates will be released? We're going in January, and if we book now, our room will be for the highest annual room rate! (yes I know I can change it later, but still...)

This year's rates came out in mid August.

I don't think they'll CHARGE you the higher rate; that's just the price they're quoting.

That way, when they come out with the actual numbers, people feel as though they're getting a bargain, instead of being unhappy with a price increase.

I couldn't book Jan 1 - 5 online, but I could book Dec 31 - Jan 5, I plan to call drop the first night later.

I justed wanted to have a reservation, I know it's a busy time of year.

2008 rates came out on August 5 2007.

You can book a room only reservation by phone now and then the price will be adjusted for 2009 rates when they come out. If you want a package you will have to wait for the rates, but I've never had trouble changing from a room only reservation to a package when they come out. I have gone to WDW in january for the past 3 years so I'm used to waiting on the rates.
