Or any sales for dates after 11/17 for that matter. I'm afraid we're going to be stuck with horribly high fares.

Has anyone ever experienced sales for 11/27? That's the sunday after Thanksgiving. Is a sale fare a hopeless cause? Should I give up and stick with 11/26?

When will DING fares show dates after 11/17? AAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!

Thanks

Shel

What are DING fares? I've booked by dec trip already out of Alb

Ding fares is - well - let me try to explain - it is Southwest daily specials that pop up during the day - they really have some great deals - but you need to download Ding through the Southwest website.

I'd expect that either the Saturday or Sunday after Thanksgiving would be hopeless as far as getting a bargain rate. If you already have a decent fare for 11/26, I think that's the best you'll probably do. From here, the only flights available that Sat & Sun are the full-price fares, and even one of those flights is already sold out. I think they'll fill the flights those days without having to offer discounts.

If Delta has a flight available you might want to check them every day. I got a great rate for 2 days before Thanksgiving, $69 total. They only had that rate for 2 days, now it's $138.
