You know my posts about my next door neighbor, the man/boy who inherited the money and the house from his deceased parents and his brother who has moved and got something from all this I hope

The man/boy who has worked at a fast food job for about 1 year or less and has been living off the money forever. I know he is selling the house and I think it could be going into foreclosure.

You know all our issues with this guy. He has been pretty quiet lately. Thank heavens . Well yest. it snowed here and what do I see on his grass today, a huge snowball! Honestly I think this guy needs to grow up and look for a job and do something with his life. It is just so sad.

No one in the neighborhood talks to him because of everything he has done as well as his own family or what is left of it. I think he could benefit from some Dr. Phil type counseling.

Its such a sad situation. But I feel he brought this all upon himself.

Holy moley, call the cops, there is a snowball in the neighbor's yard.

Um, time to relax. If this is the worst thing he has done in a while, and by your post it seems so, you need to leave it alone.

He sounds like a fun-loving kind of guy.

I wouldn't mind making a giant snowball ... sounds like fun!

Maybe he acts like he does because of depression. I think you should go put a tummy and head on that snowball. Nothing says "friends" like a snowman.

I guess I missed the other posts. I think he sounds like fun. If he was my neighbor, I'd help him make a snowman. :thumbsup2

Maybe the man has some sort of mental deficit? I mean, I've seen plenty of people who don't work, are lazy, or whatever, but none of them would build a snowman. Not athat I don't enjoy making them with my kids when we get snow, but really, for a grown man to make one alone as his daily activity leads me to believe a little something is off.

Is there any difference between a grown man making a snowball in his yard and a grown man putting up inflatable yard decor items? If seeing a blow up Mickey Mouse carousel makes one man happy, why can't a large snowball make this man happy? I don't see a lot of difference. But to read the OPs post, you might think there was something very sinister or dangerous about this snowball.

Now I have a craving for Hostess Snowballs, thankyouverymuch.

sorry, I don't know the history here.

But really when I clicked on the thread title I was hoping for something much meatier than a stinking snowball sitting in his own yard.

Big, big letdown -- I'm tellin' ya. ;)

I guess I am with the others and just don't understand why you are upset over a giant snowball. I am 49 years old and have lived in Florida all my life. You can bet your sweet bippy that if I saw enough snow to make a snowman, I would be out there doing it.

Kudos to your neighbor for making a giant snowball! Or do you mean this differently than most people have taken it. Some neighbors of my friend made a giant snow phallus last year. If your neighbor made a little something to go along with that, I could see complaining. Otherwise, what's the problem?

i made a snow angel last night. and my wife did too, and she was without clothing.

Seriously, I don't know the history with this neighbor, but I don't understand the problem. So he works in fast food. At least he has a job...

No, I really don't have a problem with my neighbor making a snowball. And he HAS NOT had a job since he was 18 and he is in his 20's now. I wish I could help him enjoy his"fun" bu I have cancer and am awaiting surgery and he has his wonderful "no tresppasing" sign up for all the neighbors to see.

His daily routine is to only take his dog out to the bathroom on the neighbors lawns every few hours. He does not even cut his grass, clean his own pool etc. He does nothing, well he did used to sell drugs but I think he stopped that after all the police visits.

I feel his time could be better spent looking for a job or doing something to save his house from foreclosure

I dont know when he is moving. I did see some official come and serve him papers when I was coming home one day. I just wish he could find some meaning and purpose in his life. His parents were such sweet people, good work ethic, etc. None of this has made an impact on him. Its just such a sad situation. I just wish he would find some peace. He has just alienated everyone out of his life. As another poster said, I never thought he might have some "mental" issues.

Well unless he is doing something serious and harming you I wouldnt worry about it. He's a grown boy and if he loses his house, so be it. But about the snowball....I dont want to be mean..but ..its a snowball..maybe if he was throwing them at your house/kids/car or doing damage to your property that would be a big deal. But other than that..its none of your business.

If he inherited the house, how is it in foreclosure?

I have to tell you that you lived next to us, you'd really hate us. We had the first snowfall we've ever had in my lifetime (almost 40 years) that was more than just flurries and lasted for more than a few hours just last week. A whole 8 inches at my house...we thought we were in Christmas Heaven!:rotfl:

We made snow angels, snowmen, BIG (at least to us) snowballs, and my son even made a snow deer! Since we don't own any snow sports equipment, we had old pieces of paneling and garbage can lids to sled on!

I also don't clean my own pool. Since my neighbors don't pay for it, I guess it's none of their business.

Think somebody needs to chill out :P
