When will my DDP credits be good?

We are staying for 5 nights in one Allstar resort with the dining plan. After the 5th night, we will check out and move to a different onsite resort where we will not have the dining plan (still part of the Allstars resorts). So I know we can begin using the credits on the day we check in, but what about when we check out of the resort and move to another one? Will our credits still be good for that day (even though we are checked in at another hotel room?)

Dining plan credits expire at midnight on the day you check out from your hotel stay with the plan.

Keep your old room key when you check out, the DDP credits are attached to it and won't expire until midnight.

As a note, they have had problems lately (though, I haven't heard reports for awhile) of credits falsely expiring around 11am-noon on the day of a check out. This is not how the plan works (some CMs have said that!) and if this happens, head to GR to get it sorted out.
