When will January dates open for dining?

My 65 day window to reserve should open on January 4. But when I look at restaurants they don’t even show January or some only show Jan 1.

Sorry, can you clarify? It's supposed to be 60 days from your first day on-site or off-site (if booked with a Disney package).

I believe it’s 60 days plus your length of stay so in my case 65 days ahead

Ahh, I see. Not sure if I've been calculating incorrectly, but I always thought it was 60 days from your first day and technically 65 from your last day of stay.

i.e. We're staying January 2-8. Window opens up on November 3 (60 days from January 2), but I can book reservations for January 2-8, which is technically 66 days from January 8.

I guess you’re right. Because now the app says I can book in 8 days. Which would be 65 days from my checkout date. Thanks!

Wait. Now I’m totally confused. I’ve booked many times and calendar isn’t opened til EXACTLY 60 days prior. So if I’m going Jan 18 for 9 days , I should be able to book ADRs Nov 9 and not Nov 18??? I’m positive the calendar will be shaded out like always.

Won’t it?

It’s 60+10. We check in on 1/2 and my booking window opened today.

The +10 is going forwards (ie towards the end of your trip) not backwards. The app was programmed incorrectly (surprised pikachu face) so ignore it when it says “you can make reservations in one day!”.

Just fyi our window opened yesterday and I actually was seeing alot of availability on Jan 2nd, 3rd and 4th so good luck. I know people said they were hard to come by but in my experience even for 8 people we had alot of options early in our trip (chef.mickey, 50s, etc) which was great and unexpected

Yes, this is correct! However....unable to book this morning because Disney hasn't figured out all of their Good Neighbor Hotels, especially the new ones like the Flamingo Crossing ones.

I agree! I was logged in at 5:45, as soon as 6:00 am hit, I was able to book everything I wanted and at the times I wanted. I got Sci-fi, topolinos, plus a few smaller ones. There was availability for everything that I could see through the 6th.
