When will 2012 Dates/Discounts be released

Does anyone know when early 2012 dates will be released for the onsite hotels? Also, when are AAA and AP discounts released?

I'm a compulsive planner and the sooner the better .

I believe they come out in August or September like disney. We booked our room for May in September.

We're planning June 2012 so we will wait with all of you. I want to book as soon as possible so I can pay some every week and have the longest possible time to make payments.

when you make your ressie, have the tm transfer you to accounting to set up a payment plan.

the hotels only charge a one night stay cost when you book.
then pay the remainder when you check out.

set up the payment form and you can pay it off before you get there if that is what you desire.

Last year there didn't seem to be great deals like I have seen in the past. Is that because of the Harry Potter attraction?

it depends on the month and dates you plan to attend.

i went the end of first week/ portion of second week of oct last year and the prices were cheaper than they are this year.

big promo last october for my dates.
going same time period again this year and it's higher by $75 total for me.

Yes thanks OP I have the same question too! One question for those with Universal experience--do you get better rates if you book as soon as rates become available? We are looking into a trip at a very busy spring break time and want to stay onsite. I guess we can always book and then keep an eye out, there are no cancellation penalties as long as you aren't too close, right? Also one other question, do you do best booking directly with Universal or through a TA like DU?
