The Coastal Discovery Museum will host Sea Turtles, By Land and By Sea – a close look at the offshore sea turtle research conducted by the SCDNR on February 24 at 3 p.m. This program will provide an update on sea turtle monitoring in South Carolina and the south Atlantic, looking at beach nesting efforts and offshore research efforts by SCDNR. Dr. Al Segars, a veterinarian with the SCDNR, who has a long career studying the endangered and threatened species on our coast will be the presenter. $7 per person.
