When we check-in, will we get any info on the dining plan?

Such as brochures, lists of which places accept the dining plan, what counts under the plan, etc? Or do they just give you your cards and leave you on your own?

They give you a brochure - but you better have reservations 180 days out especially during busy times (especially if you have your heart set on a dining spot).

I'd like to know this too- Im sure there are people out there who believe one can do disney without any planning.
How would they fare if they didnt know what places take the dining cards?

Oh we're all set with ADRs. I was just thinking about this today because it occurred to me that if I did not have the disboards, I'd be totally screwed. So I wonder what happens when you arrive if you haven't done any research or planning. I know there is a mention of ADR's when you book a package, but they don't really stress it or tell you where to find info on the restaurants, etc.

I would love a list of what counts as a snack, etc, and I'm wondering if I need to print one and bring it or if they'll have something in a brochure for me.
