When to visit?

Hi!

Can anyone advise me on when is a good time to visit DLP to avoid big crowds? We went last New Year and it was mobbed (I knew it would be busy but it was mad busy, really long queues outside the mens restrooms even) Of course, it was very cold too.

I have a load of Tesco vouchers to apply to a holiday so we want to stay at the Disneyland Hotel in a park view Castle Club room, courtesy of our Tesco credit card

DD will be 3 in May so school isn't an issue for us. We want to avoid crowds and the very cold weather if possible. Are the French school holidays similar to ours? We are considering April, May or June.


Any advice much appreciated! I can plan a WDW trip easily but have no idea about DLP!

School holidays are definitely to be avoided. We always go in term-time and, apart from weekends, it's always been very quiet.

French School Calendar 2005/2006 :

autumn half term 22-10-05 to 03-11-05
Christmas 17-12-05 to 03-01-06
half term 04-02-06 to 06-03-06 (different areas have different weeks but all fall between these dates)
Easter 2006 08-04-06 to 09-05-06 (different areas have different weeks but all fall between these dates)
Start of summer holiday 04-07-06

There are some regional variations but I think these go for the majority of England and Wales.

November was an excellent time for us. The start of our favourite season - Christmas, without all the crowds. We had no trouble with character photographs and interaction in the parks, always a good sign of how busy the parks are
