When to rent?

Hi,

I´m thinking of renting about 50 points (unless I bought them by the time ) for April 06.
As I dont know the exact dates before October or November 05... when would you rent them?
Is it possible to change a reservation with rented points later on?

April can be a very busy month for DVC reservations. The more popular Resorts (Boardwalk, Beach Club and Wiilderness) almost have to be reserved more] than 7 months in advance. if you are looking for a standard view room at the Boardwalk, reserving 11 months in advance will be essential. It is no problem to change reservations within the use year of the rented points but everything is subject to availability once you have to switch reservations.

My best advice is to book as early as possible and try to make sure your dates are firm.

To make it a little more concrete.
The time will be between 04/24 and 05/12 depending on the price for the flights.
We are looking for a studio....at OKW or any other resort no special view required.
