Trying to decide between mid-March or mid to late June. We have been to WDW several times over the past few years, both during spring break and summer so are accustomed to the crowds. We enjoy the milder weather in March, but are wanting to add on a few beach days this year. We are thinking of going down to Siesta Key for a few days after Disney. Will the water be too cold to enjoy it in March? I know summer would be better beach weather, but Disney will be hotter too. We are a rope drop family who usually heads back to the resort midday to enjoy the pool, then stays until close. So for those who have been to the beach in March, how is the water? My DH and I will probably stay mostly on the sand, but my DDs9 like the water.

I’m not sure but you could check historical water temps online. It might give you an idea.

The water is always the same temp ;) . Air temps in March are all over the place in March. It’s Central Florida’s transition month. But usually it warms up enough in the afternoon to swim, especially in a heated pool.

The water will be cold in March. Too cold for spending time in the water.

We have gone to the beach in March, but stayed on the shore. Our resort had a heated pool which is where our kids went swimming.
