Hi everyone,

Right as I have discovered that big thunder mountain will be shut when i booked for, which was rather disappointing especially as disneyland paris haven't even got it on there list of closed attractions :confused3 and the kids would be SO disspaointed it's there ultimate fave :guilty:
I am 'exploring' options of changing the time i go so would appreciate some help for the following.

Mid June, what are crowds and weather like?
End of June, what are the crowds like? or will have holidays began?
Beginning of November, what are the crowds like and especially the weather from people who have been before is it very cold?

I have another question but will start another thread.

ANY help would be much appreciated, this is stressing me out. :rotfl: i thought i had it sorted :guilty: oh well!! :sunny:

Thanks

I went at the beginning of November last year, and the weather was quite pleasant - definitely not as cold as it can get!!! And it wasn't very busy at all (during the week that is - weekends are always busy) A few Brits come over for the Bonfire Spectaculars which are on the 6th, 8th and 10th Nov this year. Apparently these are quite impressive, and you may also get to see the majority of the Christmas Decorations, as the Christmas Season starts on 10th Nov.

Can't really tell you what it's like in June, but I do know that the French holidays don't start until 4th July, so it shouldn't be too busy.

Don't forget that it's the World Cup in Germany in June. I don't know if that'll affect the crowds at all.

I've been in November just at the start of the Christmas season. Crowds are light and manageable, except for the usual throng at weekend.
Although we had to wrap up as photos in link show it was not unpleasant.
Troops declared that this was their favourite visit :)

Hi!! I am planning on making a trip to DLRP from the U.S. November 26th - 30th. I guess my main concern is that Phantom Manor will be closed during that period. If anyone knows whether it's usually down during this time, or if anyone has any valuable tips for travelers from overseas, I would really like to hear from you.

I know it'll probably be cold during that period, but I wanted to see the park dressed up for the Holidays. Thanks!! :wave2:

Hi GordonFA, :welcome: to the DLP board! I think the Christmas season is definitely the most magical one! pixiedust:

This link here shows the dates for planned closures. Luckily Phantom Manor is not mentioned! :thumbsup2

You are most welcome to add your holiday dates to this thread here and please ask away if you have any questions. :)

It was closed during those dates last year, but I don't think that necessarily means the same thing will happen this year.

The most valuable tip I can give to anyone visiting at that time of year - regardless of where they are from - is to pack a hat and some thermals!! ;)

Thanks Bexx and Ware Bears for your helpful tips and links. I will definitely be asking for more advice as the year progresses. :wave2:
