Okay, I have been down to wdw in sept, april, may and dec. So far december was the most comfortable for me, but it can get cool. The other months I found that I could not do too long in the parks at all.

I would like to know what month would be the best to go to wdw if you want the temps around 70 to 75 degrees. I know some may think that is cool, but I cannot tolerate the heat in the 80's. Thanks,

Deb.

Late September and early October are great times to go weather-wise, as is late February and early March. During Feb/March, you might hit 80 in the afternoon, but in the last few years that I've been going during this time of year, it rarely went above that. Hope this helps! :)

I agree with Debi, the parks are nearly empty all of October. It's warm but not too hot, it's a great time to visit. Also, the first two weeks in November are generally not crowded, however it's a roll of the dice with the temp, it could be cooler than your desired 70 degrees at night. February is also nice and the first two weeks in March (before school's spring breaks start).

I have found the first two weeks of November to usually be a comfortable temp. I also find Feb. and sometimes the last couple of weeks of April. The first of May can be around 70, but often will get a little warmer.

I've been to WDW in mid-October twice and both times were WONDERFUL. The days were warm, not hot, and the evenings were cool, not cold. It was perfect weather for the parks and all kinds of recreation - it didn't rain once. Also, there really weren't that many people so the lines were short as well.

We have lived outside of DW for over 20 years. Weather in this area has no normal, it's always a roll of the dice, even in December it can get up in the 80's, or as low as 60's (daytime high).
Now I can tell you months to avoid if you can't tolerate heat...mid April through the end of September. I can't believe someone said May because this year it was in the 90's with not a cloud in the sky. You can look at average temps on Weather.com and see what suits you best.
Only problem is the months that are cooler the hours at DW are shorter. But with crowds down you don't need the extra time for standing in lines.
Thing is when the temps are not above 70's during the day, they will be cool in the evening, so you got to take the cool nights to have cooler days.;)

Thanks everyone for all your great information. I will have to think about this seriously. I get severe migraine headaches from the heat,

Deb.

We've been there in June, October and December. Did the last week in October last year, near 90 the beginning of the week-felt like summer! But the end of the week was 75 and gorgeous. Even the trip in early December was around 80 and humid. Mind you, that is above average weather for that time of year. I'd go Dec-Feb, you can always layer clothing if it gets too cold. Check out the averages on the weather channel page for Orlando, it also gives the record highs and lows so it will give you an idea of the range that you could potentially run into.

Hi: Actually I was looking at the last week of october this year. I may have to change the date.

Deb.

We loved early February and mid October...next trip will be either mid-November or early February again...

Florida is prone to 80's and above temps ANYTIME during the year; but your best bet would be December, January, up to late February.

We've been in August (WAY TOO HOT).

November - very nice. Temps usually in the mid 80's.

January (3 times) - usually nice, but a wide variation in temps. We've seen it as cool as the upper 50's to low 60's during January 2000, to almost 90 degrees during our stay in January 2001. Great day for a water park!! But I would say normally we had temps in the 70's to very low 80's during January.

Hi Deb - Long time no talk to!! How have you been?? I've been extremely busy with opening a new Bed and Breakfast Inn, but thats another story!

I was in WDW January of 2002 and the weather was perfect! High 70's every day. I've also heard October can be beautiful weather. You should go mid October! I'm going to be there at that time too this year! 11th - 17th! It would be fun to see you! We're doing MNSSHP on the 14th. I have been there for mid November (very crowded) and the weather was gorgeous then too. December is too iffy. Don't know what you're going to get. I froze one year in December. Had to wear winter coats. Could see you're breath. It was awful! I get migrianes too and I'd personally go with November, January or February.

Another good thing about January. Absolutely no lines! Wonderful!

Enjoy!

March was way too hot and humid!!

Isn't March croweded with Spring Break kids/college students? This is one of the main reasons I won't go to WDW in March for my b-day.
