Hi All
We are planning to go next year for 1st time. I have just found out that Thanksgiving is 27th November. Should we go before this or after we want to see the xmas stuff.

I would go after Thanksgiving. All the Christmas decorations are up and there is a real holiday atmosphere :cool1:

We love this time of year in Orlando and have found that early December is generally quieter and you don't have to queue much for anything. Mind you we are big fans of the Fast Pass system.

Last year we were there over Christmas (from 10th-27th Dec) and it got really really busy from about the 20th - so I recommend anytime before that :goodvibes

The first 2 weeks in Dec are great, no crowds, all the Xmas stuff is up and the weather is not bad either. The only disadvantage is that one of the water parks is usually closed for refurb.
We will be there next year at Thanksgiving and I'm dreading it!

They now put up the decorations earlier than they did a few years ago. For instance, the Osborne Christmas lights at MGM start on 12th November this year and all the resorts are usually fully decorated by the middle of the month.

November is a great time of year to go, we usually go from around the 4th to the end of November, the Christmas decs are up, good weather, not too hot and not many crowds except for a couple of days at thanksgiving, but you could use these as rest days anyway.

Thanks for help.

Do you think its best to do beginning of nov or beginning of dec. Not sure which to go for!

Thanks
