When to go in December?

DH DD6 & DS4 and I are planning to go in Dec 2006 (leaving DS1 at home). We are looking for the least crowded time, but not at the expense of dealing with yucky weather. We definitely want to do MVMCP and all things Christmas.

We are considering 11/30 - 12/8 or 12/7 - 12/15

This will be the 4th trip for the girls and the 3rd for the boys, but we have never gone in December. Any suggestions? Thanks

11/30 - 12/8 You'll get the pop warner kids (football and cheerleaders), so if you're staying at a value and some of the moderates, it could be a pain. They're mostly only out at night. If you're at a DVC or deluxe you shouldn't have a problem. Either week is great! MVMCP on Sunday and Thurs. nights are less busy than on Friday nights.

Thanks! We are planning to stay at ASMo. I would definitely like to avoid the large group.

We went in Dec 2004 from the 9th to the 17th. We stayed at POFQ. The Pop Warner kids were on their last day when we arrived. Our trip was great. It was hardly crowded and wonderful.
If I had to choose I'd Dec 7 to Dec 15th.
We're going around those same dates next year.
