When to expect a new Soarin ending?

So when do you expect we will get a new Soarin ending showing how the new Epcot looks without the Fountain of Nations, innovention buildings and replaced with the new reimagined areas? Right now the ending shows Epcot as it is/was. It would be nice for them to add that new ending sooner so you can see a nice aerial view and get excited for what the finished look will be when it is completed.

Current Soarin Ride:

Probably not until they redo the entire Soarin movie, which probably won't be for a while. Personally I think having Tinkerbell zoom across the screen ruins that whole shot, so I'd prefer her being taken out then redoing the ending.

It's an interesting question. I really hope they actually don't change it, so years from now we can see Epcot as it once was.

Not until the entire reno is complete, at the earliest. Why change it now?

Just like the Epcot preview going on in the Odyssey building this ending to Soarin can be made as a preview to the new Epcot. They can create a new ending digitally just like the rest of the film used in the ride.

The point is it wasn't an update to make Soarin' more accurate.
It was just a new film.
That's 2 very different things.

It's actually not. They'd need new footage. That's more time rendering. More time calibrating. It's an expensive and time-consuming endeavor. I think it's more likely that they would put that effort toward an entirely new film (in 5-10 years) rather than updating the existing.

To be blunt it's not worth their time or effort. It's a minor issue that, frankly, only people that have ridden it a bunch of times would care that much about. They should focus their attention on the actual construction projects and getting those done as efficiently as possible.

We just agreed to the same thing
I already said I don’t think they’ll update the existing film or do anything to change it before Epcot is finished. Buy that time it may be time for a new film
