When to buy MVMCP tix?

We are traveling later this month and I am planning to attend the party on Tues Dec 1. When should I buy the tix? Since they're non-refundable and we have small kids, I kind of wanted to see what the weather forecast would be for that day. When do you usually buy tix? Is this party date typically at capacity?

We buy as soon as we know we want to go. Florida weather is so unpredictible that there is no way to make a decision based on thag to be honest.

Agreed. You can't really trust the weather reports more than a few hours out. Why risk it selling out?

Case in point the first night of MVMCP the forcast said no rain, the rain from 10-11, then thunderstorms, then no rain again. Basically there was no way to know what was going to happen until it happened. It ended up raining halfway through the fireworks.

The party ends on the 19th. Never mind. I read the 1st as the 21st. I need new glasses!

When we were on a long trip with flexible dates, we waited until closer to check the weather and figuring if they sold out we didn't want to be there anyway. But that was several years ago when there weren't many sold out dates.

If I was certain of the date, I'd buy and not risk missing it. It seems even though they are non refundable, if the weather is truly horrendous and they cancel parades/shows/fireworks people have managed to get tickets to another party or a park day added.
