When to buy 3-day tickets?

I'm planning a trip for January 9-11. Do you think there is any chance that there will be a sale on tickets for that time or should I just get the tickets now? Thanks for your help!

Sadly, no. There was so little notice for the AP hike, I literally had a couple hours to decide. The rumors so far just say November sometime.

The somewhat hopeful news is that ticket prices don't usually increase as much as AP prices.
