When Southwest opens dates next week--what price are you hoping for?

With taxes and early bird check in we have a fare of just under $130 pp for non-stop one way tickets for the trip down. Hoping to get a better deal than that for the trip back.

Well, it ended up being $150 pp + EBC...yuck...but I was picky about our flight time since we are going to be in the parks that morning and wanted nonstop with two preschoolers and a husband who has to work on Presidents Day. So all in all I'm happy.

I did check Airtran right after I saw the SW prices. They were the same for Kansas City. After your post, though, I took another look and saw they also fly out of Branson...those prices were cheaper, so I'll definitely keep them in mind once our plans firm up. Thanks for the advice!

:thumbsup2

I am paying about what I expected (but was hoping for better), but for connecting flights and times that aren't great....BUT...it's done and those flights will take us to Disney so I am happy.
