When should we leave for the airport?

Hi -

Our flight home from WDW is at 7:25pm. We've never hit traffic to/from the airport but this will be around rush-hour time.

Soooo...if we plan to leave WDW at 4:30 will this give us enough time? We have our car to drop off at an on-airport location.

That should give you plenty of time.Evn if you go I-4 and traffic is backed up for a while, it should only take you 30-45 minutes to get to MCO.
If you take 417 to MCO you won't have to worry about traffic at all, and should only take 30-40 minutes.

Three hours should be plenty of time! That's about what hubby and I try to allow, too. Then we have some dinner at the airport while waiting. The security lines used to be looooong at MCO, but since they were re-configured we haven't run into a problem. Traffic shouldn't be too hideous either.
