We already purchased our tickets with the intent to use them in July. However, we are thinking about heading to Fl for 5 days over Easter. I amy sure that both times will be crowded, but think that it may be more manageable during Easter because it will not be so hot. Any suggestions? We will not be staying onsite so can't consider FOTL as an option to beatthe crowds. Thanks!

we had friends down over easter last year and we took them to the UO parks. it wasn't too bad, but we had the free express passes to help us out. the weather is much better. we don't even go near Orlando in the month of July. the crowds are bad, and I don't have the patience. especially now that the free EP's are history.

i agree. if you aren't staying onsite for FOTL then i wouldn't go in july if i had the choice. it is much hotter in july. i asked the question about april last week and was told that the crowds weren't bad at all. me, i love crowds but if i had to stand in lines in the hot july sun, i would definitely choose april.

with that being said, if you do decide to stay onsite, i love july 4th there. there is so much activity and i love the added bonus of the fireworks. pixiedust:

Crowds will be bad at Easter AND in July. Go when it isn't unbearably hot. Stick with Easter.

If there is one month to avoid then it's July - just far too hot.

Thanks for the advice everyone! DH says we can go over Easter, now to find a place to stay. We still will be heading back to Orlando in July, but maybe we will just do waterparks, Daytona, etc. The July trip is going to be a bit longer, which has been part of my struggle. Here is the plan for April, does it seem to much?

Arrive Wed afternoon and visit a park
Thur-Sat visit parks
Sun morning (Easter) visit a park then head out about 2

I want to feel that we are getting good use out of our 5 day ticket. But on the other hand since they were so cheap, I think I can go with cutting out early.

Will there be anything special going on Easter morning?
