when should i arrive at airport?

i have a flight leaving detroit at 4:05pm with spirit air. i was wondering what time i should arrive at the airport. Is 2hrs long enough?

Every airport is different, but from what I have heard most airlines are telling you to get to the airport 90 minutes to 2 hours before your flight.

You might want to ask some of your neighbors or friends that have recently flown out of Detroit to find out what their experience has been.
