Are the rooms clean when you get there. I know when you rent you do not get mousekeeping. I assume they have towels there and we need to clean them ourselves during our stay. But what if something is wrong in the room, AC, TV, shower ETC, are we able to call the front desk, or no since we are renting points and are not a DVC renter.

In general you won't be treated any differently than a DVC member if you are renting points. If something is wrong, call the front desk or mousekeeping or maintenance.

The room should be all cleaned when you get there -- new linens, towels, etc.

You will call towel & trash service on Day 4, full cleaning on Day ?(can never remember) 8 or 7. If you have too much trash in the meantime, you can take it to the trash room. If you have a 1BR or larger, you can wash or dry your towels in the washer/dryer.

If you are in a studio, are you not able to wash your towels. Are we able to get them replaced?

they are replaced every four days only. or you can pay for more.

If you don't want to wait until the Towel/Trash day, you can buy a pack of extra towels for $6 (never did this, so I don't know how many there are or anything - I guess 1 "set" for everyone in the room, maybe) or you could ask mousekeeping if you see them and they might give them to you.

There are laundry rooms by all the pools for the use of people staying in studio villas. They are free although they look as is they should take coins. You will need to have laundry soap and fabric softener. They have it in machines for $1 a box if you don't bring it with you.

Mousekeeping is not supposed to hand over clean towels without charging your room. I found out the hard way once, when I asked a housekeeper outside my door for a package of the Tide that was missing from my villa at check in. She gladly gave me one, and when I checked out I was charged for it twice on my bill...

Here is what a Towel Pak includes:

Towel Package, $6.00 - 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat

Just a tip. If you have a problem that housekeeping can help you with, touch the housekeeping button on your phone. If it's a maintenance problem, touch the maintenance or engineering button on the phone. Never use the front desk button to call about a problem with your room. You'll get a call center somewhere and not the real front desk.

If you stay 7 nights or fewer, your towels will be replaced and your trash removed on day 4 (with check in day as day one). If you stay at least 8 nights or more, you get a full cleaning on day four and your towels replaced and trash removed on day 8. Then the cycle repeats for longer stays.
