When not to go to a park

Hello everybody! I seem to remember seeing something telling you on what days you should not go to a park, and on what days it was better to go. Example...don't go to MK on Sun or Mon, go on Wed. Does anyone know this info. or have a link to where I can find it?

We leave in two weeks and I would just like to feel better prepared!

I have to strongly disagree with that link's reccommended days & parks... Saturday is the worst day of the week to ever go to the MK and according to that site, it is reccomended!!??? No Way... I would also like to know how the writer got his info for specific dates too... I know it is a "published" book, but I am talking from first hand experience over many many years... stay away from the MK on a Saturday.

I think its harder to make blanket recommendations now that EMHs aren't static. In general, either take advantage of EMH in the morning, then hop, or stay away from that park altogether. When EHM is in the evening, stay away from the EHM park in the afternoon (you might try first thing in the morning and might take advantage of EHM in the evening - just wait until later whe the day guests start clearing out.

Yeah, I thought that was weird too--I've done MK on a Saturday once or twice (by necessity) and it's really, really not pleasant. I can't see that being a recommendation.

I would think that Monday would be the best day to go, given that the weekend is coming to an end and everyone is returning to their day to day, but that's just me...

I think a lot has to do with the season & weather.
I have been going 9yrs now.
Sometimes the weekend is slow than on Monday it's packed.
Also has a lot to do with what's going on in the area.
1 year we were @ WDW taping for Christmas Parade was going on.
This is why always get the park hoppers or an AP.
WE can get away from the big crowds.

We will be getting to WDW on April 9, and staying til the 14th. It will be at least noon when we get there, so I am not to concerned about Saturday. But does anyone know days that we might not want to go to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon?

Again, I will say Sat should be the day to stay away from the water parks too. There are many locals that have ap's to the water parks... they go on saturdays..... just my observations. If you are going to do one on a weekend day, do it on a Sunday...

Of course, we all know that a few anecdotal experiences are a lot more reliable than formal research methods. .
