If staying at Port Orleans Riverside in a Royal Room, when leaving the parks, if the French Quarter bus line is better, is it easy to walk from their bus stop to the room?

Asked differently, if someone wanted to eat at the French Quarter food court, is it a pretty easy walk?

You can walk right along the water over to French quarter - it is a nice walk - prob 3/4 of a mile. I recommend the horse drawn buggy ride that picks up the riverside - it takes u on a nice ride through both resorts.

I beg to differ.... After a long day in the parks... More time afoot walking to POR from POFQ is no close walk... It's quite a ways just to the edge of Riverside then meandering the property to your building and room ..

There are 4 bus stop at POR, yours may not be close to POFQ, better to stay aboard your resort bus..

I am going to have to agree with this! We often walk from POFQ to POR to eat dinner at POR because we prefer Riverside Mill. It is a nice walk, but I would rather wait for the correct bus, than to hop on a bus that may be a few minutes earlier. After a day in the parks, we are ready to grab our mugs, get our drinks and call it a day. Like above poster said, some places in POR are farther to walk than others from POFQ. Also, not sure if this is all year round, but when we were there in February, POFQ and POR shared a bus stop at EPCOT. We were all on one bus leaving at night and they made the one stop at POFQ then went on to POR.

Was on my phone earlier. I personally was answering the second question, specifically "Asked differently, if someone wanted to eat at the French Quarter food court, is it a pretty easy walk? "

Thanks for input. It looks like it will be easy to visit there but we should stick to our own buses!
