When is Your Favorite Time of Year to Camp at the Fort?

It's just my wife and I and we don't have any kids yet so we're enjoying the fact that the lines are shorter and all the little monste--er kids are still in school!! Getting ready to have fun from the 26th through November 7th! Planning a lot for 2 weeks!!

I vote for Oct.,,then Jan.,,then Feb.,,in that order.
They also do the P&P Party at those times,,good fun !!

We were there Sept. 27th to October 5th...and the weather was beautiful. I understand it can be hot..but it was actuallyr quite comfortable in the 80's and dry. I remember hearing the humidity was coming back when we left..but still given that we used to visit in AUGUST....October was a pleasure.
We also found that May was great as well. Maybe a bit warmer than we experienced this year during the first week of October, but still very comfortable. Since we enjoy spending time enjoy the resort, we are usually looking for some warm days. We don't spend all of our time in the parks where I guess the heat would be more of an issue.
