I'm curious what everyone's favorite time to go is, and why. Thanks.:)

End of November first part of December. Thats when I grew up going. But I also like Jan./Feb. I like the cooler months living in Texas I get enough heat that I don't want it on vacation.

Anytime--but I too like November-December. Haven't been in January or February but hear it's great--going to try it in 2009.

We like to shoot for dates in the window just after Thanksgiving to a week before Christmas. I love being there while the Christmas decorations are up, Disney's and the camper's! Comfortable temps, low site prices, and smaller crowds too? Who could ask for more? I would love to be there for Food and Wine Festival, Flower and Garden Show and MNNSHP one of these days... but I'll have to tire of Christmas first!

Whatever time of year I'm there. Actually, we have only camped at the Fort twice. Both times it was summer. I would love to try it in the fall. I think for our next trip, we are going to try to go in early December.

Thanksgiving week, because it's not as hot as it is durring the summer months, my office gives me Thur & Fri off so I don't have to use vacation time and everything is decorated for the holidays. It really kicks of the holiday season for me. :)

We like late November. The weather is nice and the decorations are beautiful. Unfortunately, we come during T'giving week and it's too darn crowded in WDW in general. We liked early November better for crowds, but the decorations aren't up then and now that the kids are all in school, we can't come then anyway.

Anytime other than summer! :thumbsup2 (although I like to go then too! ha)

I'm going to agree with Nov-Dec. Although I might change my mind after this Halloween! :thumbsup2

Our first time was just this month - Oct 4- 8, and the weather was PERFECT for camping. It was really beautiful.

The best time we have visited for low crowds and cool and comfortable weather would be January...BUT...not near the New Year's and MLK day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

Our favorite time would be October during the Halloween Party!:worship: If we go back during that time it will be the 3rd or 4th week. We went last year during Columbus Day week and the crowds were TERRIBLE! We loved October better than any other time because of the decorations and the MNSSHP. I would recommend October but beware of the first two weeks for Columbus Day and school Fall Break time. Oh, IT IS REALLY HOT in Oct. at Disney! :)

I'm sure. The weather in Orlando is very similar to that of Houston and generally, it's still pretty sticky in October (though it's pretty nice tonight, in the 50s, we're actually "camping" in our backyard tonight).

I'm not a big fan of hot weather so I can't imagine going to Disney in the summer/hotter months at all.. even if I were staying in a five star hotel. The parks are too hot. All three times I have been to Disney have been in late November (twice) and late December (once, very busy). I love the weather in the winter months.. warm enough but not sweltering.. Though I do remember FREEZING one night at Fantasmic.. :)

OCTOBER!!! Mainly for the F&W festival, and I also like early December!!

Thanksgiving for us, although 4th of July is fun too. We like going to the other resorts and parks to see the decorations that are up for Thanksgiving.

If just DH and I we love May...perfect weather and no afternoon storms. If we come with whole family as early in June as possible when GS gets out of school.

1) VALUE SEASON! it's cheaper
2) November (Thanksgiving-football and a huge dinner in the outdoors) and December (New Years-watch the bowl games popcorn:: and then off to TE for dinner)-to see all the sites decorated & the resorts decorated
3) Labor Day Weekend-use our waterpark passes and hang out by the pool 09-hopefully the refurb pool:yay: )
4) anytime!:thumbsup2

I didn't find it too hot at all this October - we even could've worn long sleeves and jeans at night. It was great!

It all depends- weather is pretty varied during October. Today's a beautiful day with lows in the 60's and high's in the low 80's. It can be as hot as 90 in October with humidity, especially in the early part of the month. Towards the end of the month it can get as cool as 50's (maybe even 40's, but rare) in the mornings.

So it all depends on when you go and whether or not a cold front is coming.

My favorite time is the beginning of December. The decorations are the best.

Well, then you must have not been there last Oct. during the week of Columbus Day:confused: ...UNBELIEVEABLY HOT!!!:scared1: At night it was a little cooler but still very sticky and not jeans & long sleeves weather AT ALL!!!

During the day it got into the mid 90's with LOTS of humidity! We had some natives warn us the before we left that it would probably be very hot in October...WOW were they right! My son & husband had full body costumes for the Halloween party and they about died from a heat stroke!

Go late October for cooler temps during the day but with Florida, don't count on it!:thumbsup2
