When is too early to arrive for Grand Californian parking?

We are planning a Disneyland trip for early next year. At the 7-month mark, I was able to make a DVC reservation using points at the Grand Californian... Yippee!

We will be spending a couple days beforehand elsewhere in Southern California and wanted to know when we could arrive and park at the Grand Californian. I know check in is officially 4:00 PM, but could we show up at 7:00 AM and park there on our check-in day? With the parking included at GCV, I would like to be able to do that.

I would ask on the Disneyland forum or on the Grand Cali resort threads.

Someone local who shows up early is more likely to see it there.

Shouldn’t be an issue. Speaking from our VDH stays, we’ve arrived to park as early as 6:00am. Go to early entry at the park. Return to hotel when room is ready. You have parking and resort access on check in day with parking allowed until midnight on your check out day.

That was going to be my follow-up question... so we can take advantage of early entry even though our hotel/resort stay will start later in the day? That is great if so!

Sure can. I just show the reservation in the app at early entry until I get the room key later.
