when is the last time

Pleading the 5th here (as opposed to drinking a 5th). :o

I had too much tea for lunch today (not the Long Island kind either, just the sweetened southern kind;)).

I've never been drunk. I've tried, just never succeeded, so I gave up trying.

Too much? About 22 years ago. Never forgot what I did that night nor how I felt the day after, so didnt 'go' there again! :o

Although....there are days when my children can push me to drink again!!

Let's see add 5 months to the below counter!!! Look what happens when you've drank WAY WAY too much!!!

New Year's Eve. And then on New Year's Day remembered why it had been about 8 years since the last time I had to much to drink.
Lesson learned...:crazy2:

At a Christmas party this past December. But ask again tomorrow and the answer may be "Last Night!"

Two weeks ago, after a dear friend's funeral. A bunch of us from the old neighborhood tied one on in honor of Jimmy. Man did I feel like you-know-what the next morning tho..........

Not in about six months, when I had that horribly strong daquiri while we were at Universal Studios. There was literally so much rum in that drink that it assaulted me, and I was drunk in the Poseidon Adventure...After about 30 minutes I was able to process it, and sobered up a bit.

Stay tuned, though, my birthday is next week and 24(!) of my friends are coming to Memphis for my birthday party and to take me out. This does not bode well...

too long ago LOL Since August or Sept.

2 more months and I can have that beer I'm craving :D

Next Saturday night.

How do I know this in advance, you say?

We get our taxes done on Sat morning and from our best estimates, we'll be owing a ton sooooo....

Saturday night we'll be drowning our sorrows! :p

Sat. Feb 21st. We took a friend out for drinks and dinner for his birthday. Started at Nola, a cajun/creole restaurant and bar. They are known for their 64oz. Hurricanes!! And since it was less than a week before Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras they were in full party mode. So I was pretty much gone when we headed to dinner at a place called Miyake - simple little Japanese joint located near Stanford University. They are not known for their food but for the "Sake Bomb". Sake and Kirrin beer.

1. Pour half glass of beer
2. Pour sake in little sake cup
3. Wait for the lights to dim
4. Stand on your chair
5. Chant - When I say Sake you say Bomb - Sake-Bomb Sake-Bomb Sake-Bomb
6. Drop sake cup in beer cup - ala a boliermaker and then chug

Needless to say this happens about every 3 minutes. So after about 30 minutes Number 4 gets much much harder to do:rolleyes:

Great place though - thankfully DH only had one drink back at Nola's so he drove the rest os us home!!
