When is the last raft to Tom Sawyer Island?

If the Island is closing at 5pm, when would be the last trip over TO the island? I know from experience my Disney newbie friends will want at least a half hour to explore and don't want them to miss the boat.

Not sure if it was the last boat of the day, but this past Monday we were on one at 4:40. The attending cast member informed us about the 5 o'clock closing.

I would get to the boat launch at lest an hour before it close there really is a lot to see and do on it I know they close the back part off a little before 5 and once they do you can not get back there.

I siad to get to the island an hour before it closes

the back part of the island close a little before the others do ( CM will stand on the bridge and not let anyone back there) not sure when they start to do this ( it could be 10 minutes early or it could be 30)

I could easy do 2 hours on it and not be done very quiet and fun

not sure why you thought I said anything about spending the night, but no you can not spend the night.

Oops I misread your post. Thought you had said the last boat comes at 5 and once they do, they don't go back. So if someone was on the trails or in the caves and 5pm passed, then they were stuck.

no CM are very good at making sure no one is lest I think 3 of them walk it to make sure,
