I think that we sent dlpsteve out to check it out about a year ago and he hasn't been seen since

happy to answer any questions though!

my friends staying there on monday so i`ll quiz here on the way home on the eurostar !!

Here's a recent thread with photos and info about the Cheyenne

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1375591

I'm torn between staying there and Hotel NY this Nov - I like the theming of the Cheyenne and don't know if HNY is going to be too much like the hotels I stay in most of the year.

thanking you all very muchly

Huge apologies - it was supposed to be my job but I've been mega busy and not got round to it. If someone else wants to do it thenm don't wait for me - I can always add bits if there is anything to add.

Sorry :(

oh I didn't mean to make you feel bad, Steve - you are the reason that I stayed (and loved) the Cheyenne.....

I even plan to stay there again next trip thanks to you!!! :)

Mulan - We had the all you can eat buffet there in October and it was fine, ideal for us with my son who was only 21 months and didn't eat an awful lot. Myself and DH are very plain eaters so so it was good for us as we could have chips, sausages, etc but there was plenty more to choose from. The breakfasts there are the same as most of the other hotels from what I can make out, the croissants ar elovely, I could have eaten them all day!

Any other questions please ask and I'll do my best to help if I can!

:yay: thanks tracy (my sil doesn't have an e either!)
um if you could tell me a bit about the pony rides would be great, what time do they do the rides? from where? do you have to pay extra? can a 1.5 yr go on?
I was concerned about the food as the reviews i read on dlpfoodguide were mixed, mostly bad, saying the food was luke warm and not great, not sure if we will eat there or not when we stay, might just pop down to la vallee and mabe find a good restaurant there instead.
Thanks everyone!

Sorry I don't know anything about the pony rides as they weren't running when we went, probably because of the time of year. I suppose food wise it depends want you want, if you're after a nice sit down meal with a wider choice then you would probably be better going somewhere else but as far as buffet goes this was fine for us. A tip for breakfast as well, if you go for an earlier breakfast time slot then it will be quiet and you wont be rushed, I'm sure this is the same for all the other hotels as well.
