When is the Best Time of the Day to have a Character Breakfast?

I am going to TRY to make PS for Chef Mickey's and wanted to know the best time.
I know it is until 11:30 but if I wait until 11:00 or 11:30 will the food be the "left overs" or do they put out fresh food up until everyone is done with Breakfast.
I want it to be special for Son and Daughter but I plan to bring an appetite ( however you spell it ) . So I wanted to know
Is it better to make PS a hour or so Before the end of Breakfast or is it just as good at the end of Breakfast??

And Yes I know I probably will Not be able to get the PS since I waited soo late.. ( I am trying to call right now but the phones are so busy from the new AP codes being out )

It sounds crazy but we had PS at Chef Mickey's at 7:10 in the morning. It was the only early one left. It worked out great, very few people there so the characters spent a ton of time at our table with our dd4, ds2, and dd7mo. The food was fresh and plentiful. We will definately do our next that early too.

I Finally got through on the phone..
And looks like I am out of luck.
I was trying for Chef Mickeys either the 25th or 26th Around 11:00 - 11:30
She said they were Sold Out..


Good thing it Was going to be a surprise, that way the kids are not going to be disappointed.
I plan to check back after we get there in case someone cancelled.
Wish me luck!! I am sure I need it if I plan to still try to get it
I said we were Not going to do a C. Breakfast this time, but yesterday I decided we needed to.
Have any of you ever got a good PS days before hand for a Chef Mickey's
( I am set on tis one because we are staying a CR and want to go there right before we head to the room for a nap )

I try to make all my reservations as soon as possible. We actually already have a PS for the Hoop Dee Doo for October 28, 2005! I think that for most of the charcter meals, you can make the reservations up to 90 days in advance. I already have the dates that I can start calling for PS's marked on my calendar and my husband set up a reminder on his email at work!
