So I really wanna go to Disneyland in 2008, i just don't know when.
I want to go when there are the least amount of crowds.
What month and time do you guys think would be least crowded?

Invariably, no matter which month you choose, it will always be the week before or the week after your trip!:rotfl:

I have been to Disneyland over 30 times and have found that Super Bowl weekend is very quiet there. March and April have Spring Breaks and Magic Music Days. May is hit and miss. June, July and August are a bit insane!!!!! September is not too bad. Also the first two weeks of November are AWESOME! I have been the first week of December a few times as well and have had it be a ghost town one time and crowded the next. I highly recommend Feb. Although now that I say that..............
Regardless, go and have fun! It is great there!!!!! But VERY different than WDW.

We went the first week of Feb. last year and it was so empty. We walked onto most rides. We plan on going this time again next year. :thumbsup2

Most questions here are related to Disney World. Do you really mean Disneyland, or did you mean Disneyworld?

Since this was posted in the Disneyland section of the boards, I would assume Disneyland.

It's very slow the beginning of February. Especially if you go mid-week!

We went last year in the first week of May. It was wonderful! We hardly waited in line for anything. The only thing that we didn't do due to the wait was the Princess Fantasy Fair. I'd love to go again during that time of year. :)

sorry u guys. i posted to the disneyWorld thread. so my thread got moved here. that's why there are two.
but thanks so much for all the info, it really helps. keep it comin :)

A few years back I planned a trip with my sister and friends for Feb because everyone said it was never crowded during that time. We expected low crowds, BUT it was packed. They had to extend the hours for the park. It ended up being the last week so cal folks could use their "2fers" I was so bummed.

We tend to go the week after labor day in Sept and that is a good time. We just did the first week in oct and that was fun, not bad crowds. First week in Dec is usually good, but you need to watch out for the processional and cm holiday parties.

Avoid anytime anyone may have ski week or spring break, avoid presidents weekend, avoid thanksgiving, xmas, new years and summer.

Have fun!

Feb. may be winning but its to cold for me! I like to go the end of Sept. or early Oct. because its still warm but crowds are very manageable.

From a hotel manager's perspective and looking solely at the numbers, the slowest time is right after Labor day in September. Labor day is the last "hoorah" for people's vacation before everyone goes back to school, etc.

A few years ago, I would have said end of October, but we just found out the hard way that that isn't the case any longer. I would say the time after Veterans Day weekend and before Thanksgiving.

June, July and August are a bit insane!!!!!

:sad2: NO kidding!!!! My family was there this past July and it was crazy. When my dad returned to work his co-workers asked how the trip was. He said "If you ever think the world is underpopulated, go to Disneyland over the summer." He's so right!!! :rotfl2:
