When is spring break in FL?

It's right now here in NC. I've heard it's later in FL. We're thinking about going down the first part of April and sure don't want to encounter it! Thanks for your help.

It's more of the spring break 'season' you need to be concerned with, not just when it is in any one area. Families from around the country will use the week of spring break to make a Disney trip. Each school district sets its own schedule, but most will center around Easter. There's a reason the rates go up mid February through April. It's the 'season'. And the crowds will reflect that.

We went down last April the third and encountered the last part of Jersey Week, almost every Rv in loop had NJ plates on their RV's..They emptied out during the last part of the third week..

Spring Break 'season' ends the Sunday one-week after Easter. It's easy to tell when the season is on, just look at the rates. lol

Nope, Duval County is March 28th-April 1st, although the kids do have 3/25 off as well, for a teacher workday.
