When is Spring Break 07? Trying to avoid...

Hi

We're planning a family trip for 07 sometime and haven't a clue when Spring Break is. We'd like to *avoid* that, if possible.

Anyone know for sure?

There isn't one week you can label as Spring Break because it varies a lot by area. Pretty much March-April.

NYC public schools will be out Monday April 2- Tuesday April 10, 2007. My son and I are flying our March 30.

There's no such thing as a national Spring Break. At least in the three states I've lived in, each individual town/city had its own school district, and each one did its own scheduling. Just the state of New Jersey has several hundred school districts, and that's just one of 50 states.

Plus then there are the private schools. And the colleges and universities ....

The one thing you can PROBABLY count on is that a lot of spring breaks will occur the week before Easter and the week after Easter. But there will be plenty of others all over the place.

Spring break crowds are at the World from Presidents day in February until the week after Easter. The most crowded spring break crowd is the week before and the week after Easter. In central Florida, the school disticts all take turns with spring break, so there isn't just 1 week when all of central Fl is out of school.

I want to avoid the Easter season as well! For our area in Michigan we have the 1st week in April off! So it looks like last April or early March for us!

The week before and the week after Easter are the most crowded spring weeks at WDW, but crowds will be moderate throughout March, April, and May.

March 1 to April 20th is a good estimate for Spring Break crowds

In Mobile, Alabama, Spring Break 2007 will begin April 16th.
