Does anyone know which week is "New Jersey" week this November? Will it be the first or second week? It is the week that Veterans day is celebrated? We went that week in 2001 and had no problems, but last year the airports and flights were crazy. I want to avoid it this year. Can anyone help? Thanks

Jersey week is the first week in Nov. this year.Schools have off the 4th and 5th, so most folks will be going the 1st week. We go frequently this week and have never found it to be crowded. We are heading down Oct.30 -Nov.6.:Pinkbounc :bounce: You do'nt h

ave to be afraid of us Jerseyites,we do'nt bite!:teeth: :teeth:

We were there for all of Jersey Week 2003 too. I thought the crowds in WDW were actually pretty low, which was really nice. We flew out well before and after though.

We did Jersey week 2002 and 2003. Great weather. Minimal crowds. Great time to visit since the other 49 states are in school. We'll be there this year again.

Dates for the future NJEA Conventions:

2004
Thursday, November 4
Friday, November 5
Saturday, November 6

2005
Thursday, November 10
Friday, November 11
Saturday, November 12

2006
Thursday, November 9
Friday, November 10
Saturday, November 11

I can't believe that Jersey week gets a bad rap. The crowds are still WAY, WAY lower than most other times of year.

Maybe those of us from Jersey should be helping the rumor though to make sure it stays that way, so... yeah, the crowds are horrible, and all the people there during that time talk funny... ;)

I'm going this year for my first Jersey week experience. I'm from Jersey so I figured it was a must while we have AP's this year. I'm so happy that we'll get to be there for Halloween. Jersey week comes at a great time.:bounce:

I was so nervous last year. he boards made it seem like the crowds were going to be horrific. We never waited more than 20 minutes stand-by and even that was rare. Most things (even Test Track, TOT, and Mission Space) were only 10-15 minutes during the middle of the day. Great weather too. I would definetly go at that time of year again!!

heh...NJ Week? Every week in November will be NJ Week for me. I'll be in NJ all month!

In the olden days we'd visit WDW during the off-season. My DW is a now a teacher here in the Garden State sooooooooo our next trip will be in August. oofaaah! No more laid back off-season trips for us!

You go girl (or boy)!! Let's keep the rumor going so we'll be the only ones down there. There are so many people going that I know. It will be soooo strange to go down there and be walking around MK saying, hey, how ya doin!! to about 50 0r so people!! I think it's going to be a "wild" experience. Can't wait. We should start a campaign, "KEEP ATTENDANCE LOW FOR JERSEY WEEK." Yeah, I heard it gets "packed". Hour long waits, etc., etc. LOL!! (Just kidding). :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :smooth: :smooth:

Yeah, yeah.... I got bad news for all you Jersey folks...my KY kids are out of school Mon, Tues and Wed of "Jersey" week, so there are going to be some "infiltrators" there that week too!!

I don't even care if the whole state of NJ is there!! I figure a bad day at Disney (which may be an oxymoron by the way) is still better than a good day at work!!

I thought that was going on then. I grew up in NJ but we had hard time getting a flight we are going 10/27 -11/6. We also paid more than we typically do.

I laughed so hard when I read your post!! Can you imagine....between the KY accents and the NJ accents....it should "sound" very interesting down there that week!!! Well, welcome to Jersey Week SB in KY. We'll be happy to share our time with you!! And you're right....a bad day in Disney...wait....there is no such thing as a bad day in Disney!!!!!

Those in parts of Maryland (Montgomery County) will have off the first two days of November, but of course we don't have accents... :teeth:
