When is it likely that Allegiant Air & Southwest will have March 2007 rates?

I am waiting inpatiently for the rates of Allegiant Air and Southwest in March 2007. Currently Southwest has dates available up to March 9, 2007. Of course I'm looking to arrive March 17 - 24, 2007. Does anyone have the history release of these dates? Thanks.

Allegiant just released the rest of March, I found on the history page that Southwest has released the rest of March by the end of October the past few years...I'm anxiously watching too! We go March 24-31 and Allegiant out of Springfield, MO was 149 each way--a little higher than I was hoping for. I've never flown either airline...do you have a preference?

I prefer Southwest - only because it flies out of MCO - free pick up from Disney. Allegiant Air flies into Sanford Airport - about 45 minutes to 1 hour away. Allegiant is ONLY worth it if the price is cheap. Last year I paid $174.60 (which included the taxes). That was worth it. If its more than $225 its just not worth it. Allegiant Air charges for EVERYTHING too. Soda, small bag of chips - EVERYTHING!!! NOTHING IS FREE!!! Check the times Allegiant flies too. From St. Louis Allegiant only has one flight in and out daily. The flight into Orlando arrives after 9 pm - a whole day gone. Their flight out of Orlando is great - around 3 pm. So check to see the times of departure for Allegiant. Consider this, if you are staying onsite you don't have to rent a car (free disney pick up) thats worth the little extra for airfare. I was waiting on Southwest too - they are taking their little sweet time.

Have you flown at this time of year before? I didn't know since it is kind of 'Spring Break' times if I should be buying tickets ASAP, or if I can hang back til the end of this year or early next for sales....

Not to Orlando - but to other places during Spring Break. It's pretty hard to find flights anywhere. Its best to book when you can - even when flights are available - most often the "most wanted times" are not available. My DH and I often go to Cancun during this time.
