I was wondering when is DCL at their cheapest price to go on a cruise? Is there a specific month that the cost is soooo low you would HAVE to go ??

Thanks

According to the passporter...2004 rate trends show Sept-Mid December (with the exception of Thanskgiving week in Nov.) to be the lowest for both the magic and Wonder. Of course it is through Hurricane season...which is from May-mid November....with the peak being the first couple weeks of September

thank you...
we are going in jan 06 and to wdw for a week in aug 05 but i was trying to plan a mini cruise before jan 06
i don't think i can wait that long :faint:

thanks again

The website for Allseastravel.com has specific price quotes posted for all sizes of parties in each category stateroom for every sailing, week by week, for the rest of 2005 and 2006. I have not booked through them ever and don't endorse or discourage them, but from monitoring discussion here I believe their prices are as good or darn, darn close to as good a fare as you can get in the marketplace for most sailings. Someone else may have a better net fare with a rebate or credit--again, you don't have to use them, but their site is a terrific tool for relative comparisons as to which weeks are more or less expensive than others. You can always find a quote there and then go use it with other TA's for a discusssion. Most other TA's elect to have a system that asks you to request a specific quote. It is a good place to start to compare different weeks. Early January and Early December are good places to begin.

Another price break time is the sailings right
after January 1 sailings......Right after the
holidays.

After that week they start going up. Every
once in a while you will see a break. Alot
of people use the school calendar as another
avenue for peak and value times.

With the school calendars changing and more
people than ever cruising I think you are
going to start seeing a different change in the
cruise pricing than before.

Like, people used to say that the closer you
book to sailing the better the deal you would
get (a couple of years ago), NOW, the earlier
you book the better the rate.

So I think it will be neat to watch what takes
place in the next couple of years with pricing.
This year is a little different with DCL also due
to the 50th Anniversary, so they really have a
grip on things. But 2006 and 2007 I think will
be interesting and ESPECIALLY if DCL announces
a new ship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh let it be!!!!
