when is Bay Lake tower going to take reservations and when is first night to stay?

we are starting to plan for Oct 09 trip and want to see if anyone knows when the new bay lake tower will begin to take reservations and when can you start staying there?

Bay Lake Towers will be accepting reservations for BLT DVC members on 3/1/09 and for the everyone else on 3/15/09. My understanding is that it is supposed to be open in September, so if you are going in October you should be fine to make a ressie. The problems will be (1) if it does not open on schedule and (2) availability. I would probably reserve something else now, and then see what happens in March.
