When is a good time in the Spring?

Hi everyone! We are planning for a trip in the spring of 2009. Either end of April or May. Easter next year is April 12th. I don't know the time period for spring breaks & when the kids in the south are dismissed for summer break.

What time do you think would be better (less crowds) end of April or beginning of May?

We were there at the end of April this year, and it was crowded, but manageable. The weather was cool, actually. We wore jeans most of the time, so water parks were out. We're actually going first week in June next year so that we can enjoy the water activities a little more!

The further you are from Easter, the better the crowd levels will be. So I would say as late in May as you can go.

Past couple of years we have gone to WDW the second week of May. Weather was great - even for the water parks - and the crowds were not that bad. I think the Fla schools are out the Friday before Memorial Day or the last Friday of May. Our spring break here is April 6-13.
