When I was a little kid and just starting to love Disney

I had a set of books. I loved those books and read them almost every day. I knew them by heart. When I moved out they where passed to my brother and then to our our younger brother. Well as time went on the books got ruined and lost pages and became junk....

I have been looking for a set of these books for well over ten years. Not just any set but a full set in the box. Today I came home and there they where. I found them on ebay and in fantastic shape.

Someone the other day on another collectors board asked me.. What is my favorite Disney Item... Well as of today.

These. I look at them and just remember a time when being a kid was all I had to worry about... I can't wait to read them all over again...

We had this set too and it is showing wear and tear. Though I'll never have kids, my mom gave the set to me instead of my brother or sister. I tried to read a story or 2, but I gave up. They were so heavily condensed they didn't make sense. Even though I've seen "Sword and the Stone" and "Marry Poppins" many times I still had trouble following the story. Only a kid could think they make sense and I feel sorry for parents that have to read them.

We had that set when we were kids. My brother and I (and later our sister) wore them out looking at the pics! I think they are still around somewhere but they are in VERY used condition!
