When family & friends are not supportive or "don't get it" about DVC

The only thing you did wrong, which is debatable even, is expect others would "get it". We have heard similar things to what you listed in your original post but just don't care; you can do the same! I want to invite my parents or in laws and I figure dvc might incentivize them to come since I'll cover the room cost through points; we want some help with kids on vacay lol.
