Come heck or highwater we are flying Westjet again. However they are the only ones who do not have their December flights posted yet. Does anyone in the loop know when they start posting Christmas flights etc!

I can't remember the exact date when the flights came out for our Dec 06 trip but March seems ring a bell.

We are trying to book some flights wth Airmiles on Wetjet for December and the person that I talked to at Airmiles told me to check at the end of Feb.

I think their December flights come out around mid February. It was around that time last year we booked our December 2007 flights on them, so I am sure it will be 2 weeks or so until you can make reservations for December 2008.

Thanks very much I will keep my eyes open. We are looking for a December 18:goodvibes departure

Hey, this may or may not help but I just checked my past flight reservations for Westjet. I booked using Airmiles on Mar 20th for a Nov 28 - Dec 11 trip in 06. I remember that the flights came out on Westjet's site a couple of weeks before they released some seats to Airmiles. I called everyday for 11 days until they were released to get the flights I wanted.

Can I ask why you book your flights so early??

Whynot wait until the seat sales?
In my families case my Dad was able to use his Aeroplan points to get 3 seats this December from Toronto - Orlando, then our return flight from Tampa - Toronto on January 1st, 2009. The reason we made the reservations months ahead because who knows how many Aeroplan seats are available for each Air Canada flight and February 1st is when we could have booked our return flight home online, so we got it done as soon as possible. Plus the only costs that were there was all those Airport taxes and etc, so it's better paying that then full fare for 3 tickets. So we consider that a huge deal.
