When does the Special version of Illuminations for Christmas begin?

Last year we went early Dec and they were showing the special holiday finale.

Does anyone know when it starts this year?

The day after Thanksgiving.

Is this just an extended Illuminations?

It's the regular Illuminations but just when you think it's over, there comes more fireworks that my husband says must be every single firework in Florida. The special one starts at 9:30 instead of the normal 9:00.
