I'm taking my DD to WDW at the end of September, and we're going to attend MNSSHP. I want to dress her as Alice in Wonderland (that's her bedroom theme). Last year I think the Disney Store started selling Halloween costumes in August, but I want to make sure my memory is correct. Anyone else know?

Disney stores are selling them now. It is the first round and more will come out around the first part of next month.:goodvibes

They should definitely be out in time for your trip. It seems like they carry an Alice dress every year. :thumbsup2

We found Disney costumes at party city and Target/walmart. I haven't seen Alice but maybe check online. We are trying to find one as lightweight as possible because of how hot it is in September

Disney Store had a GREAT Alice costume last year. I would call or stop in and ask when they get them in or order online :)

PS) COOL Bedroom theme idea by the way...LOVE IT!!!:goodvibes

They usually start selling them pretty early, so keep checking!
Another place to check is ebay.. i found a cute Minnie costume that wasn't too expensive. Other places that sell party supllies and stuff usually have costmes as well, so it may be a good idea to do a google search- you may be able to find a unique costume that not many other people will have :)

Just be careful to get costumes that are made of cloth. So many of the Halloween costumes seem to be made of a non-breathable, very plastic-like polyester (I know, I know, polyester is plastic...), which is lightweight, but not breathable for a hot day. If it is really something that could be worn as clothing, it should at least be hand-washable (be wary of anything that says surface wash only - that's a toy, not clothing).
