Im going for dinner there on November 18th and really hoping it’s up by then.

Disney uses a lottery system to assign the dates for resort decorations. There is no way to know ahead of time the decoration date. I've seen the tree go up as late as the week of Thanksgiving. I've also seen reports that it was up around the middle of November. I wouldn't count on it being up by Nov 18th, although it could be.

Should it be up by Thanksgiving? I really hope so! We're staying at WL for the first time (we are so excited!) at Thanksgiving and would love to see the tree.

We have been to WDW twice during Thanksgiving week, this will be our 3rd trip and both times the resort tree went up during that week. Two years ago at GF, they did their Christmas stuff late night, the Tuesday before turkey day. We woke up Wednesday and the resort was transformed

Each resort gets done overnight. One per night
Go to bed with no Christmas wake up and it's done
I've seen time lapse video of some resorts being done and it's remarkable
The one thing they usually do is time them so the last one is done before Thanksgiving

Yeah. By Thanksgiving they should all be done. Just any there before that stand a chance to miss them
The one thing for certain will be the gingerbread structures. They'll all be in progress before Thanksgiving. Not completed much, if any before. But being worked on
